Town Manager Brian W. Marks
Brian Marks was born and raised in Akron, Ohio and served in the US Coast Guard for over 20 years retiring in 1999 as Officer in Charge of Motor Lifeboat Stations Hatteras Inlet and Ocracoke on the North Carolina outer banks. Brian received his Bachelors degree in Historic Preservation from Mary Washington College in 2004 and his MBA from the University of
Mary Washington in 2007. Mr. Marks began working for the town of Louisa in May 2000 as the Public Works Director and was appointed to the Town Manager position in December 2005. Brian lives on the shores of Lake Anna with his wife Danielle and Bonnie, their collie.
