HOLIDAY MAINTENANCE AND TRASH PICKUP INFORMATION.

The Louisa Town Hall and Maintenance Shop will be closed on Friday, December 23rd and Monday, December 26th for the Christmas Holiday.

The Town Maintenance Shop will close at 11:00am on Friday, December 30th, 2011 and remain closed until 7:00 am on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012 for the New Years Holiday

The Town Hall will close at 12:30pm on Friday, December 30th, 2011 and remain closed until 8:30am on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012 for the New Years Holiday

Current requirements for trash collection are listed below and continue in effect.

  • Trash containers of 30 gallon size or less with a cover should be used.
  • Containers should not be overly loaded so they cannot be handled easily.
  • No liquids, chemicals or hot ashes should be placed in any garbage container.
  • Automotive batteries, motor oil, tires and paint cannot be collected.

Recycling guidelines.

Note: Motor Oil can be taken to the County Recycling Centers for processing, and local grocery stores accept plastic bags.
