RFP # 01-23-2020-01 CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION SERVICES
The Town of Louisa is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide construction inspection services for the forthcoming
Town of Louisa Sewer System Improvements Project. This project is being funded by the United States Department of Agriculture, Rural
Development Agency. The project entails the rehabilitation of existing concrete sewer pipe and concrete block manholes with trenchless
technology.
The successful proposer will be expected to be on site for 40 hours a week for period of 22 weeks. The successful proposer shall have
excellent verbal and written communication skills, basic computer skills and will be expected to maintain written and photographic records of
the progress of the project.
Sealed Proposals for furnishing the services listed herein will be received by Mr. Brad Humphrey, Project Manager at 212 Fredericksburg
Avenue, or at P.O. Box 531 Louisa, VA 23093 until Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 2:00 PM local prevailing time. No e-mailed or facsimiled
proposals will be accepted. Proposals must be submitted by the date and time indicated above or they will remain unopened. No allowance
will be made for postmark or error in delivery to an incorrect address. It is the sole responsibility of the proposer to ensure timely delivery of

The Town of Louisa is committed to fostering the utilization of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) in all its procurement activities.
MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit proposals. Proposers must comply with the following: the Presidents’ Executive Order # 11246
prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, color, creed, sex, or national origin; the President’s Executive Orders # 12138 and
11625 regarding utilization of MBE/WBE/DBE firms; and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Bidders must certify that they do not or will not maintain
or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin.
