The Louisa Town Council will hold a public hearing pursuant to § 15.2-2507 of the Code of Virginia, regarding a proposed amendment to the FY 2022-2023 Town Budget in the amount of $146,550, which is in excess of 1% of the current budget.  The public hearing will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 212 Fredericksburg Avenue, Louisa, Virginia during the regularly scheduled Council Meeting.  The purpose of the amendment is to approve, and appropriate revenue received to budget expenses for the purchase of a new BAI Municipal Software server, Town Hall equipment upgrades/improvements, and contractual services for water and sewer connections and repairs.  Members of the public will be able to speak at the public hearing.  Comments can also be submitted prior to the meeting by calling our office at (540) 967-1400, email at info@louisatown.org or mail to P.O.
